Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have smoked 12-16 cigarettes a day for the last 2 months, prior to that about 5 a day for a year and a half. Having a breast augmentation in 10 days and I smoked about 6 cigarettes yesterday and I have had 2 today. What will my Cortinine levels look like when he blood tests me in preop on June 14th at 7am. Trying for this to be my last day of smoking even thought he thinks I quit 3 days ago. Don't want him to cancel me but if I have just 2-3 more total today and quit will my Cortinine levels be low enough on the 14th that he will go ahead and do the surgery? Sorry Cotinine not Cortinine....autocorrect stinks sometimes!
