I have stage 4 kidney disease and recently came down with tendonitis. I was prescribed a steroid and a muscle relaxer. I have rested my elbow and shoulder as the dr told me to but do you know how long this pain will last typically and is it due to gout. I have had gout before in my foot area. I just want to know if I should return to my pc dr. to get a shot. I saw the nurse practioner prior. Thanks.
