I have systemic sarc.(cardiac, resulting in chf due to diastolic dysfunction, wall thickening , ejection fraction of 56, pulmonary w/ left lower base atelectasis,multiple nodules throughout chest, lungs, ca. deposits in vessels, organs ,tissues due to sarc and crest syndrome(mctd), acute kidney failure, w/hypercalcemia +ca. oxalates, debilitating oa and idiopathic arthritis, high ldl chol., atherosclerosis/pad , and chronic venous insufficiency etc. 51 year old female of Danish/irish descent-5'7.5", 145 lbs. I developed elevated serum ca. after former pcp prescribe supplemental vit. d. what should I do dietarily to halt further calcification of tissues/organs that's anti inflammatory, mucus thinning, circulation boosting, low na. + heart healthy ie. plant stanols/ sterols that won't elevate d , ca. or vit. a as I have the low d , d dysregulation and ca. metabolism disorder. Please help as there's no singular concensus among experts re. this rare disease. Ie. omega 3, coq 10 supplements, foods rich in omega 3's , d, and ca. ok or contraindicated re. my conditions and less than rosy prognoses? what to avoid and not to avoid, that is my question. Specifically, nuts, seeds, legumes, fish/shellfish , cheeses, yogurt, grains or gluten free(neg. for celiac), nutritional yeast, turmeric/curcumin,cayenne/chili powder/cinnamon/ginger and other asst. spices,soy are fruits and veggies high in ca.(basically all) ok? how many g of protein and recommended daily fluid intake? currently take the diuretics furosemide(2 20 mg. tabs. 2x daily ) and one 50 mg. spironolactone tab and 20 meq's of potassium. Any advice would be most appreciated as want to do what's most beneficial and not detrimental given the complete package I've got going on
