I Have These "bumps/nodes" On The Major Bottom Arch Tendon

I have these "bumps/nodes" on the major bottom arch tendon of both feet. They don't hurt, but are obvious when I stretch my toes upward. Now one is starting on the side of my big toe joint. I have had something similar on the inside of my hand at the joints. They tend to eventually go away, but will come back again. But the ones on my feet have been there a while. One doctor told me to slap a Bible and it would burst. It is hard to do that on my arch.
