Could you helpI I am 75 years old male ,did not have any health problems so far I used to take fish oil and centrum tablets almost regularly and also ecospirin-75 .Sometimes some red patches appeared in some parts of the body and vanished after a few days One dermatologist was of opinion that it may be due to some allergic reaction. A few months back i noticed that Ihad BP 180/100 and so I have started taking Losar-25. Can you give me some advice.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic Forum

At your age , itching is common, its due to dryness of skin. If there are patches it can be due to scabies or urticaria (hives).

High blood sugar can be another possibility.

So get your bld sugar chked. And visit a dermatolgist or a homeopath for a confim diagnosis , and then treatment.

Calendula + aloevear lotion will be soothing.

Takecare

it is atopic dermatitis. apply echinacea Q+ coccunut oil (1:1 ratio) . Take Merc Sol 200 - BD for 6 days. Test for FBS and PPBS. If blood sugar is higher side consult to dibetologist for further treatment . Those all are homeopathic medicines and can be available in usa in any departmental store.

Hi!
Welcome to Healthcare magic
Firstly I would suggest you to continue with your Allopathic medicines Ecosprin and Losar and get your sugar levels also checked ,to be on safer side. For your Allergic Dermatitis you can start taking FORMULA-D.. 1 TABLET TWICE DAILY. Increase your water intake and avoid taking dryfriuts for the time being as they are heat producing and can increase your itching problem.

Thanks and take care

The humidity or moistness in the region can cause itching or any sort of infestation with scabies etc. you can apply six c oint or wash with baking soda. The red patches you get can be patechial haemorrhage due to side effect of asprin. internally haidra khand and gandhak rasayan is administered.

Dear
welcome to healthcaremagic
You had the blood pressure high you should have regular check up for yourpressure and follow the medicine to control it.Here are some home solution for you
Take a bath in one can of evaporated milk; you can add other combinations such as oatmeal, baking soda etc. The milk works well to soothe the itching.
• Apply Aloe Vera, cod liver oil, lemon juice, vitamin E oil, wheat germ oil, or witch hazel tea to the itchy area.
• Take burdock, chickweed, goldenseal, plantain, or yellow dock in capsule form.
• Cornstarch helps relieve itching. You can pour some into your bath water or dust it onto your body.
• Scrub the affected area lightly with a pumice stone. Then wash with soap, apply rubbing alcohol, and dab a thick layer of Vaseline over it. This will provide relief from itching.
• Take a bath with a little peppermint or yellow dock to relieve itching.
• Fresh stinging nettle oil can be used on the affected areas.
• Drinking 1 to 2 cups of Nettle tea daily is thought to help relieve itching. Add boiling water to 1 tsp of the dried leaves for each cup. Steep for 15 minutes.
• Apply Burdock root oil to the skin to help heal rashes and itching.
Thanks
