I Haven't Had My Period In Over 45 Days. I'm

I haven't had my period in over 45 days. I'm 18 years old and am usually somewhat regular-- about 30 to 31 day cycle. Once a couple weeks ago and then again yesterday, I was fingering myself and instead of clearish wetness, there was bright, period-like blood substance that was thick enough to seem like I got my period. What is happening? Is that my period? My nails are very short with no hangnails and I don't feel any scratching, so I am quite positive that I'm not causing myself to bleed that much. Please help-- I'm scared.
