I Inhaled A Piece Of Food Last Night. I Have

I inhaled a piece of food last night. I have yet to cough it up and it feels like it is stuck in my windpipe. The area around my collarbone and throat hurt and it is sometimes painful to take a breath. My mother (a RN) advised me to see a doctor. Can a walk in clinic/primary care doctor take care of this or should I go to an ER? BTW, I am a 35 year old white female.
