I Injured My Back At Work Simply Stepping Off A

I injured my back at work simply stepping off a curb. I filed proper paper work, saw NPR, told me probably bursa, or sciatica nerve. NPR sends L&I description of injury as pain. L&I does not accept NPR description of injury Therapy for 1 1/2 months. numbness, pain, and mobility slow not much better. L&I neither accept or denying claim. MRI done 2 annular tears, disc herniation with fragment 7x8mm on R side, stenosis severe L side. Sent to surgeon for opinion on surgery and relation to work injury. Surgeon feels my hip is more the issue. Waiting for L&I orthopedic Dr. approval. Almost 3 months now, L&I has not approved or rejected claim. Is L&I going to let this go much further? So tired of hip and back and seems no relief in area near or far. Not working, not getting an income, need casual advice....
