I just got out of the hospital after being inpatient for over 24 hrs. While I was in there I was getting iv antibiotics and when they gave me the doxycycline it burned so bad I had to have ten do a new iv. So they did another and the next day when they tried to give me more antibiotic it burnt so bad I couldn't have it. Now I am home and I see the spots where the two Ivs were and they are both hard lump bruises and there is a redness that highlights my whole vein down my forearm. And it's still sore. Is this normal
