Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just had an injection in neck and spine, before they injected the steroid I had a horrible pain in my right arm. It has been 2 hours and I am still having a burning and horrible pain in my hand, thumb and first finger. They said it was from the injection but the initial pain came before they actually injected anything. It was explained to have come from the fluid pushing on my swollen area. Do I need to be concerned? I am in severe pain and was given a large amount of pain meds that are not touching the pain! Is there anything that could have been hit on my spine to worry about?
