I just returned from the Philippines and for the second time in four months after being there and drinking a lot of gin and tonics everyday (which I usually don't drink....just beer and wine) the skin on my fingers starts to peel off, the tips get kinda hard, and sometimes it spreads to my palms, and I get a slightly bumpy rash on my my upper forearms. Could it be the quinine in the tonic water or am I just overdoing it with the booze?!? I've never had this problem before and I do drink a fair amount of beer and wine on a regular basis.
