Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just turned 30 years old and about a year ago I started feeling the urge to constantly use the washroom every time I left my apartment. Also I have noticed white like stuff at the back of my tongue (I can scrape it and it's almost like plaque). I've gone to my doctor and had blood work everything came back fine. He referred me to a specialist and he basically just told me it seems like I have IBS. I kept asking if it could be candida (oral thrush) which may have worked into the gut because some of my stools look small and have a string like substance attached. My stool doesn't look like it did a year ago but it's not black nor have any blood in it. However from constantly using the washroom and wiping so often there's blood on the toilet paper from the rectum. Also feels like there is a hemorrhoid (maybe the hemmorhoid is bleeding?).Does this sound like IBS or could it be something more?
