Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I need to talk to a psychiatrist because I think I have a learning disability. I'm afraid to apply for high paying jobs because my brain doesn't work when it comes to figuring things out. Only jobs I'm good at is cleaning and porter work and I can't even get hired for those jobs. I've been without a full time job since June 2014 because I was laid off and replaced by a contractor. I had been working at the apartment for almost 9 years and I wanted to retire from there. I've been looking for a job for awhile and I've sent lots of emails to jobs and they ignored me. I don't know what else to do about finding a job and I'm gonna lose my car soon if I don't find a job because I don't have money for car repairs. My parents said they aren't gonna help me get another car. If I don't have a car, I'm not gonna find a job and I'm gonna be homeless. Being homeless scares me and I've never been in that situation. I would like to see a psychiatrist and see if I can be diagnosed and try to get a disability check. I don't think i'll ever work a full time job again. Please get back to me soon with advice because I need to talk to a psychiatrist because my living situation is very bad.
