I periodically get dis comfort in my lower left abdomen. When I have this discomfort I can push I this area in a specific spot and I get an excruciating pain that shoots lower like in my bladder. Also the fuller my bladder gets the more pain I have. It lasts three or four days and would go away like it was infected. Within the last 4 months it seems to be happening more frequently like once a week. I am 50 years old and I have had two colonoscopies since 41 and do for another every 3 years i get checked out. Each time they have found polyps and removed them and did biopsys. After the procedure I feel the tenderness In the same area that is bothering me now. I don't know if there could be a fold in my large intestine that certain foods get hung up and cause inflammation.I do have a heiatal hernia and have been taking prescription medication since my early 30s i am taking 60 mg of Dexilant right now. Since July 2015 I started medication for anxiety I take 75 mg of Effexor also 20 mg add oral and 0.5 mg of Alprazolam. I know some of the side effects of these medicines can cause abdominal pain. Any suggestions would be helpful thanks.
