I Recently Got The Pneumonia Vaccination Shot A Day Ago

I recently got the pneumonia vaccination shot a day ago and my upper arm muscle is very sore. The soreness evens spread out to my armpit I cannot turn my arm certain ways and if I try to extend my arm, it's very painful. Is this normal? If so, what can I do to relieve the soreness, I've taken ibuprofen a few times a day since I received the shot. If it's not, should I go back to my family doctor or is this symptoms of something worse?
