I recently had a bladder revision and sling put it. After the overnight stay, I was unable to void on my own so they sent me home with a catheter. Long story short, it has been a week and I still can't go on my own. I feel crampy and have lower back pain. I'm scheduled to visit the doctor in a week to see if the bladder is less inflammed. I'm 48 years old and went through menopause at 32 (POF). Is my bladder ever going to work on its own again?? What are typically the post op side effects of this procedure? Thank you for your help.
