I Recently Had A Sinus Infection (assuming Viral Due To

I recently had a sinus infection (assuming viral due to lack of purulent/green sputum) that was pretty rough. Took some zyrtec, sudafed, and ibuprofen to relieve symptoms as best I could. The past two nights (coming off the infection) I have noticed two random moments (one each night) when i could taste blood in my saliva, so i proceeded to spit the saliva out to check for blood and there was indeed some blood... albeit a very small volume both times. can this be a complication of my sinus infection?
