Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently had an MRI of the brain with and without contrast. This was done because of headaches and swollen optic nerves. The report reads: The pituitary gland is somewhat prominent although still probably within normal limits for age appears homogeneous. Marrow signal of the calvarium is somewhat heterogeneous but still probably still within normal limit for patient this age. I am a 37 year old black female. Can you explain this to me?
