I Recently Had The TIF Procedure Done With Hernia Removal
I recently had the TIF procedure done with hernia removal as well. In reading recovery stories it seems that mine is so much worse than anyone elses. It has been a week since my surgery and I still have trouble swallowing liquids. If I take a sip of water more than a tablespoon its excrusiatingly painful. I can feel the liquid slowly moving down my asaphagus and sometimes lodged for a second. It literally drops me to my knees. I am also experiencing the sharp pains in my shoulders and clavicle area. I have lost now 8 pounds in a matter of a week. That brings me to a whopping 110 pounds. Im super weak due to lack of nutrition. My Dr. Explained this recovery as not being able to eat for about 4 days and recovery no more than 5. Never mentioned a liquid diet or a 12 week diet for that matter. I did throw up day after surgery in the hospital for about a couple minutes. I had been screaming for nurses to warn them because I was told that could jeapordize the recovery and/or procedure but no one came. Is this damaged because of that or are my symptoms normal? Help
