I Recently Had The Single Dose Pill Treatment For Chlamdia

I recently had the single dose pill treatment for chlamdia infection. It seems as if it didn't work because the pain is still there. Got checked and waiting for results but while being checked my doctor gave me a shot of rocephin (ceftriaxone). Will that cure the chlamdia infection?
