I Recently Started Taking Nature Throid, Not For A Thyroid

I recently started taking nature throid, not for a thyroid issue, but as a mood stabilizer. I am having heart burn with everything I ingest which is very rare for me. I have also started getting headaches. Could this be a side effect of the medication?
