I shut my car door on my finger, it was bruised swollen and very bloody. The day after I went into a walk in because the swelling got out of hand and the pressure was unbearable. The Dr. drilled 2 holes in my nail and a lot of blood drained. Now a couple weeks later the pain has subsided, the swelling is gone and the bloody cuticle has fallen off. There is still bruising under the nail which is probably dried blood. I had false nails on when this innocent occurred but they were grown out so he was able to drill my real nail. They are very grown out now and I was wondering if I could try to take the false nail off and apply nail polish to cover the bruising. What concerns me are the two holes and having nail polish cover that. Also when could I apply fake nails again?
