I Smashed My Wrist And Lower Hand In A Car

I smashed my wrist and lower hand in a car door. I had an xray, they said it was just a hematoma and some contusions, and i should feel better within a few days. However that time has come and gone and i have considerable swelling, far worse than when the injury occurred. I also can't move my wrist and thumb in certain ways. Is it worth getting a second opinion or should i give it another few days and watch it? (This occurred early on Wednesday, it's now Sunday evening) i hate to waste time and money if it's just my hypochondria kicking in. I do have pictures comparing the swelling and showing the injury. Thanks.
