I started my period, bled for 3 days then stopped and on the 4th day had unprotected sex. 5th day I got the morning after pill from the store, took it about 12 hours after the sex. I normally have 28 day cycles but they have been irregular this year sometimes being anywhere from 24-31 days. The past month it was 29 days. I would like to know how soon after taking that pill do I ovulate again and how long is that pill effective? I took an ovulation test on the 5th day and it was first morning urine taken with clear blue digital and it said I needed to test with first morning urine. Anyways, the test result said I was at peak ovulation time which is what prompted me to go to the store to buy the morning after pill. Will I likely still ovulate at the same time this month? I don't know what to expect.
