I Take 25mg Metropol Once Per Day! I Noticed Broken

I take 25mg metropol once per day! I noticed broken blood vessels in my left eye about a week ago, didn't even consider it could be my blood pressure! I normally feel crummy when it's high!! It finally came to me last night to check it!! It was 137/101!! Took my med as normal and went to bed!! Woke up with my left eye very blood shot again and my right eye was quite swollen!! My pressure was once again high!! 150/100 I decided to take another 25 mg dose!! I'm still having high pressures even with med!! I also have MS and in the middle of a relapse!! Not sure if it's causing this, or if it's something else?? My back has also been aching something terrible, have had a lot of diarrhea, and my eyes almost seem kind of jaundice!! Kind of a yellowish brown color to the whites of my eyes!! Is doubling my blood pressure med going to be more harmful than the high blood pressure?? Can't see my family doc for 2 more days and my neurologist appointment is still 2 months away!!
