I tested positive for chlymidia a month and a half ago. My doctor prescribed me a pill to take for 7 days to get rid of the infection. About two weeks ago I went to get retested and my results came back negative. It’s now about 2 weeks since I got retested and there’s still an irritating/burning feeling in my urethra. I am wondering if it’s possible for the second urine test that I took didn’t work. I am also wondering if there’s a possibility that the irritation sensation is taking longer to go away while still being free of chlimydia. Thank you.
