I Think I've Been Misdiagnosed With Eczema On My Lower

I think I've been misdiagnosed with eczema on my lower legs. I'm trying to find out what is really going on
It started about 4 years ago with a tiny spot of itchy skin on one leg. I travel a lot so I thought maybe it was something like athletes foot. Not it's on both legs and the itch is beyond intense. It's not flaky skin it's little red bumps that are almost puss like when I scratch. Then they scab over and because the itch is so intense I end up scratching a lot leading to my legs being fully of scabs.
