I took Alendronate Sodium for several years and the result was 2 broken femurs within 4 months apart. Was told my legs hurt from Arthritis. 3 years later not taking this drug I can now walk normally without pain (usually). Have been prescribed Raloxifene HCL 60 mg tabs. I have read some of the comments and afraid to take this drug. Is there any better way. I take the recommended calcium daily with 20,000 units of vitamin D once a week. I drink at least 1 glass of Soy milk daily (50 percent recommended daily per glass).
