I took cipro for 6 days and finally after c/o of all side effects( including yeast infection).was taken off....I'm still on metronidazole 500 mg...no test taken... dr said for possible diverticulitis and/or bacteria ....I felt like the medicine was killing me. to get to the point... I have been off cipro for 3 days and now have intense pain in bilateral calves.. making it difficult to fully exted my legs and ambulate normally. it's worse when going from resting position (supine >sit>stand )...I'm wondering if I have now permanent damage
