I Took My 14 Year Old Daughter To A Surgeon

I took my 14 year old daughter to a surgeon this morning to discuss getting her adenoids removed because of a blocked air ways disorder. He decided to check her tonsils to see if they need to be removed as well. When he was checking them he casually mentioned that she seems to have a wart on her tonsil and that he could remove it for a biopsy while she was under. Then he quickly said he would schedule a surgery date and we would receive a call. I was shocked but decided I would google tonsil warts. Now that I am, I am seeing it in reference to HPV. I am very concerned and wondering what I can do to help my daughter, can I get some more information about the cause, and cures??
