I took sudafed 24 hour (240 mg) extended release yesterday because I read sudafed was okay to take during pregnancy. I then did more extensive research before taking another one today because I wanted to double check. Everywhere I'm reading says I should NEVER take the 24 hour version because it's too much. I only did it once and I don't take any other medications at all because I don't want to harm the baby in any way. I was just at my wit's end last night, not being able to breathe.

I take vitamins every day too (prenatal along with fish oil and coconut oil). But I'm nervous that I've done something terrible by taking the 24 hour sudafed one time. I am 7 weeks pregnant and want to know if a one time dose of 240mg pseudoephedrine has probably harmed my child, in your professional opinion.
