I Tore My Pattellar Tendon And Had Surgery To Reattach

I tore my pattellar tendon and had surgery to reattach it. An xray post-op shows several things: No evidence of fracture, bones intact. Channelled lucencies toward either side of pattellar , likely related to old pin tracts. Medial joint line is slightly narrowed with early peaking of the tibial spines. subtle marginal spurring just beginning to show laterally. Minor marginal patellar spurring. Patello-femoral joint seems reasonably well-preserved. Thomas
Small effusion in the suprapattellar recess. Major soft tissue swelling in the prepattellar and infrapatellar tissues, potentially prepattellar bursitis.
