HI!! Hopefully you can help. I have a neurological condition, and l can not get a diagnosis.
There are four things that happen to me with this problem
1) almost like myoclonic seizures, but it is not seizures. My legs flop around at night as well as my arms.
I mean flaying and hitting myself. Been to 3 neurologist, had all of the test and they are negative. I take gabapentin for this problem. 300mg. times 2- four times a day.
2) If I do not take gabapentin there is a heavy feeling, like someone or something is pushing down on me. It is so heavy that I can hardly walk.
3) Shocks on the inside of me, They are like a shock when you walk across a carpet-Only they are on the inside of me and sometimes stronger. It has happened on my lip, arms legs, feet, toes, but mostly it
happens on a weak spot ,e.g. after surgery.
4) My body will get stiff. If I stretch my legs our at night, my entire body will stiffen up. I can happen when I get out of bed or when I get out of a chair, Not always, but mostly in the A.M. This activity really seems like some kind of seizur
I have had a MRI with contrast, EEG. Blood sent to the Mayo clinic to test for cancer.
Doctor # 2 wrapped my head with several leads and sent me home with a monitor.
Doctor # 3 at OSU also put about 48 leads on my head and kept me overnight. This was a bad experience.
I am getting worse., and I do not know where to turn for help.
I am thanking you In advance for reading my health problem.
