I Usually Take My Birth Control Pill At 6 A.m.

I usually take my birth control pill at 6 a.m. However, on Tuesday I didn't take it until 3 in the morning, 3 hours before I was supposed to take my Wednesday pill. I started my period, even though I'm taking my normal pills. Do I keep taking them and then take my period pills and have two periods? Or do I stop the pills until my period is done and then start a new pack?
