I was diagnosed with a tbi and my nerves were severed in my right neck in 1990, auto accident. My neurologist was fm the mayo clinic and he told me I was in more pain than someone in wheelchair. And, over the years my body on the right side would be like a old building collapsing. My question is it affects my entire right side. I am in excruciating pain and was diagnosed with dystonia of the right leg, foot and knee and get quite a few botox injections for tbi and dystonia. But, I believe it's the nerve damage that is causing this not my tbi that my different neurologist says? Also, when I am in excruciating pain I talk backwards, have knife piercing they right eye, my senses are heightened so much that cannot tolerate light sound and groups of people I have panic attacks and talk to my much. Or I am traumatized very quickly.have trouble comprehending. Only can walk 2 blocks. Should my neurologist run more tests. Also, should I be taking pain meds as I cannot function in pain.
