I Was Diagnosed With A Tibial Platu Fractural On The

I was diagnosed with a tibial platu fractural on the inside of my knee about 5 weeks ago. The doctor told me to stay off my knee completely and that my follow up appointment would be in 6 weeks. However, l started walking on it about 2 weeks after being diagnosed. (Well more like hobbling I should say, considering I can not lock out my knee) as my follow up appointment is approaching is it possible that I will not be getting cleared this week. I still can not lock out my knee or bend it more than 90 degrees. It is also very swollen above my knee. I am young, healthy, & very active.
