I was diagnosed with depression years ago. Was sick many years until I was put on elavil.. That was the first time I could sleep. I am now 93 years old and having bad times. Should I take another kind of medicine?I have been going through a stressful time. Lost my husband two years ago. Have two sons. One has a rare disease and being cared for by his wife. The other is a teacher and lives a state away. He can seldom get here. I am trying to sell my house and everything, to go into a senior living closer to relatives.
