I was driving on the freeway, and I had to come to a full a stop. Cars next to me were moving forward slowly, but I felt for a few seconds that my car was in reverse rapidly going backwards. I was fully aware of my surroundings. Fox News was on the radio. Both feet planted on the brake firmly. Car was still in drive (I hadn't put it in reverse). Got my wits about me, looked at a fixed object to my right and finally I was okay. What the heck happened?
