I Was Eating A Few Small Pieces Of Candy, And

I was eating a few small pieces of candy, and because they are small i accidentally inhaled a piece. It's been 24 hours and it feels like the piece of candy is stuck in my trachea when I swallow. I am still able to breath normally but the piece of candy is causing for much discomfort. I have tried taking in liquids, eating, and aggressive coughing techniques to dislodge the candy with no success. I am getting an very lite but odd sensation in both my chest and head. My question is will this piece of hard candy dissolve on its own or should I go to the emergency room to have it removed.
