I Was Given A Combination Solution Of 0.05% Betamethasone &

I was given a combination solution of 0.05% Betamethasone & 5% Minoxidil by my dermatologist. I was instructed to put on the affected parts of my hair that was thinning. The moment that I put it on my head, my entire head began burning and my scalp feels very tight. That was on July 8th. I was told to stop immediately and was since then prescribed clobetasol propionate ointment a week after that incident. That ointment was put on a test spot on my scalp and it also burned. My symptoms still persist. I was put onMethyiprednisolone for 6 days, yet the burning persist. I am currently on Gabapentin 300 mg, (the 5th. day tonight taking the medication). Yesterday, I felt as though my symptoms were finally going away, yet this morning, the burning increased. I was told to keep taking the medication for three weeks. I'm about to go mad because my scalp has not felt the same from the day that I first put the initial medication on my head. I don't feel normal and this pain and disrupting how I operated daily from my job to daily activities. I just want to know exactly what's going on. Will this medication stop the burning and the uncomfortable feeling on my scalp. If so, how long does it take for the medication to work? I will see my doctor on next Tuesday, but I don't know how much more of this pain that I can bare. Please Help!!!!!
