I Was Having Pain In My Left Bicep And Sometimes

I was having pain in my left bicep and sometimes up and down my left arm 24 hours a day for about 2 weeks. No otc pain relievers helped. Nothing I did physically made it worse or better. I had a hunch and I stopped smoking for 3 days and the pain was 90% gone. On the 4th day I smoked half a pack and the pain came back. I stopped again and the pain is again about 90% gone. Obviously the pain is related to the smoking... should I see my doctor? What are the implications of the pain? Thanks.
