I Was Involved In A Football Collision Yesterday Was Sent

I was involved in a football collision yesterday was sent to the er. I just received stitches to the inside of my upper lip but I was told that I would need to go to an orthodontist asap. Unfortunately, today is Friday and there will not be any orthodontist available until Monday. I can't bite down or chew.. i'd like to know- How long should I expect my upper lip to be swollen. sn-I ice once every hour and I have taken Ibuprofen. Also, is it okay that I have to wait to see an orthodontist?
