I Was Previously On 300mg Of Lithium Capsuls 3x A

I was previously on 300mg of lithium capsuls 3x a day for at least a couple years and stopped with help of my doctor a few months ago. I just started taking it again at 150mg 2x a day and now it's the tablet form. I've noticed that my tongue has been swelling and up until a couple minutes ago I thought it was due to too much sugar, however, now it has become a bit hard to talk, it is painful, and very swollen. Also a bit worried about my throat. I'm newly having trouble taking even two very small pills at a time without choking on them. Could this be the lithium? The sudden tongue swelling started almost immediately after I took it tonight. Should I seek medical help right away? Can it wait? Do I even need help?
