I Was Recently Diagnosed With A Large Glenohumeral Joint Effusion

I was recently diagnosed with a large glenohumeral joint effusion & several large subcortical cysts. Also, a tear at the anterior of the supraspinatus tendon at it's insertion. Also fluid collection in bursa. I told my MD this was getting more painful & he didn't seem to concerned. The MD told me surgery not necessary but if it will relieve pain should I seek a second opinion?
