I Was Seen In The ER For Possible Kidney Stone.

I was seen in the ER for possible kidney stone. No stone was found. I had blood in my urine RBC 3-10. My CT scan noted “Circumferential urinary bladder wall thickening versus underdistention”. My doctor did not provide any detail. Is this a typical presentation of bladder cancer? I am terrified! I scheduled a cystoscope but just as scared of the procedure. I’m a 50 year old male, smoker. I haven’t seen visible blood in my urine. What does all this mean?
