I was stuck by a thorn from a coral cactus on the back of my hand (Sat) , just above my wrist , but below my thumb. A few hours later the pain was excruciating, like a bad sprain, but with minimal redness and slight swelling.Can't use that hand without extreme pain (range of motion thumb) Without aspirin taking the edge off I wouldn't be able to stand the pain.. It is now Mon. and I am heading to an emergency clinic for a Tetnus booster. What else should I expect for treatment?
