I was wondering if pooping(pardon my choice of words) helps get rid of heartburn? I'm simply miserable and I got 4 kiddos that depend on me. With this I can't lye down because I'm afraid of getting sick. I cant rest. My doctor put me on protonix and I'm on my fifth dose 40mg. I hope it starts working soon. The tums and the mylanta isn't working . I made the mistake of drinking some low acid oj and let me tell you, I almost puked. Please help
