Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I went to a Rheumatologist who did a lot of labs on me. I don't understand them & I don't see her again until July. One test said ANA which is referred to as "lupus antibody" is positive. Other lupus studies are normal. but on the back page it said SSA (Sjogren's Syndrome 40-70%) and then Neonatal Lupus 100%. and So do I have lupus or not ? Also, they said I had abnormal hand xrays & want to do an MRI on one of my hands to see if I have possible sarcoiditis ? Another test said Scl-70 (antiDNA topoisomerase) Scleroderma 20-35% so do I have that also ?
