I went to a chiropractor for the first time, hoping to fix a pull of my gluteus minimus muscle that had been causing pain down the outside of my right leg, all the way to the achilles tendon. He did some adjustments for 3 sessions and exercises that were helping. On my last visit - 3 weeks ago - he had me lie down on the table and he pulled my right leg EXTREMELY HARD. Since then I have had horrible pain on the outside of my right thigh, causing me to limp. I am now seeing a naturopathic doctor for deep tissue manipulation. I have done research and feel he somehow damaged my IT band and I don't know what to do for this. Is there anything I can do, or will it just take time.? SO frustrating that this NEW injury has now replaced the old one, which seems all better now. I am fearful of throwing my whole body out of order by the limping. I am a normally very fit 70 year old woman, who walks and swims regularly. I told this chiropractor that I had a severe injury to my right thigh 30 years ago, yet he jerked my leg so hard! :( Help!
