I Went To The ER And They Found I Had

I went to the ER and they found I had acute diverticulitis and had emergency surgery in 2008 for colon resection and colostomy then 6 months later I went for the 2nd surgery to close the colostomy then 2 years later I had to have surgery again because I ended up having 5 hernias in the same area (stomach area) so they put in a 10x10 mesh in, I have had pain from the surgeries and I was told scar tissue can cause that. I tried applying for schedule A disability and I was denied, I have had pain in that area of stomach still and sometimes where I had the colostomy it tends to cramps and I have to stop what Im doing. Can you tell me why I don't qualify for Schedule A disability?
